We are nearly 1000’ in elevation higher than Salida.
Zip code for Salida to check weather is 81201.
Road conditions are CLEAR at this time west of us.
Roads from us to Salida are also CLEAR.
WARNING – Deer are still crossing the roads, be careful driving
between dusk/dawn.
We have just launched our largest cabin to date, Mt.
Columbia.
This is a duplex cabin which you would have full access to both
sides.
3 individual bdrms, with a 4th large room with 2 queen size beds – so 5 beds all together.
No murphy beds, no sofa sleepers. Currently, it does have a washer/dryer.
Two full baths, dishwasher, 65” TV, 2 of the bedrooms have king
beds w/TVs, fireplace stove,
hot tub w/lounger, soaring ceilings and a fenced area for your
pets. See Availability List.

NOTICE – BEARS ARE AWAKE!
Please close the lids to the
dumpster after you throw away your trash as
if it snows, it could fill it up... plus, there are other critters that can get
into it.
Note, it is NOT locked – it only looks locked.
It is important to NOT leave food in your car or on your
porches…
as animals will think it is a gift to them.
We have had all kinds of critters crawl into cars
which left their windows cracked or food in coolers on the
porches,
such as raccoons, squirrels, AND bears, etc .
They can get their paws in small places.
We take no responsibility for what wild animals do.
Also, ALL pets must be on a
leash.
We have Mountain Lions - and they DO NOT HIBERNATE.
If you let your pet run free, there is a VERY good chance
it will become lunch for a larger animal – even if it is a large
dog. Wild animals
are afraid of large humans, but they are not afraid of your
dogs/children.
You are IN THE MOUNTAINS, this is not the city. Animals live by different rules here.

not feeling cramped when you go into
your room at night;
enjoy sitting on couches, loveseats,
chairs or even on your own front porch when talking to others
in your party instead of just a bed of a
normal hotel room, then we may be right for you.
Even though we may save you money if you
have a large party,
there are budget places in town without
any frills.
We enjoy it when our guests tell us that
they love it here, and they most always do.
If you are coming to the mountains – why
not STAY in the mountains!

– ALL of our Cabins are PET Friendly, which means ALL of
our Cabins have had pets in them
recently. If you suffer from
Asthma or are sensitive to pet dander,
please do not book with us
as we will not return your deposit if you
cannot stay or have an
Asthma attack in our cabin(s) due to
having pets in it.
Also, we use Chlorine to sanitize our Hot
Tubs. If you are allergic
to Chlorine, please do not get into our
Hot Tubs.

NOTE:
2017 Reserved Rates are the
same as 2016 until new rates are
posted.
In other words, if you want to reserve
for 2017, you need to do so BEFORE we post rates
as they probably will go up. Our expenses are increasing annually.
All reservations with deposits have their
rates locked.
(NOTE:
All rates are based on a two-night minimum.
Please ASK if we can wave it, sometimes we
can if it is not during a busy time of the year
but normally an additional cleaning charge
of $25 will be assessed.)

300 thread count Egyptian Cotton Luxury Sheets on our King Beds.

This is a
picture of our cabin villas (Mt. Elbert, Mt. Oxford, & Mt. Massive).
It’s three
normal cabins connected together with 2nd bedrooms in each
making it
where up to 28 people can sleep! Great
for groups or super large families!
To rent the
entire villa, you would be renting two 2 bedroom units and one 1 bedroom
unit.
Each cabin
villa comes with its own hot tub (total of 3 hot tubs)
